Tomás Alaniz has spent most of his life in Southern California working in the world of high-end antique jewelry and diamonds. His family's jewelry business in Beverly Hills and Los Angeles introduced Tomás to the fascinating shapes and endless colors of precious gemstones. 

 

Tomás' love of color is apparent in his work. Settling permanently in the Sonoran Desert of Palm Springs, Tomás draws upon the contrasts of the landscape and the unique mid-century architecture of the Coachella Valley.
